Rescuing Chinchillas in Arizona

We are a new private, small scale, home-based Rescue located in Mesa, Arizona. With minimal options for Chinchilla Rescue, I made it my mission to be of service to Arizona residents and work for this cause. We take in any unwanted Chinchilla's in need of placement in the Metro Phoenix and surrounding areas as well as providing a Senior Sanctuary for elderly Chins who need a loving retirement home. We are 100% judgment free. Whether it's because of new life changes or unexpected events, we understand that things happen and we want to be an open door to those that need us most! We pride ourselves providing compassionate & ethical Chinchilla care and ensure to rehabilitate and help all Chinchillas find new, well equipped, loving homes.

Small Scale

Our Space

We are a small scale, home-based Rescue. We run right out of our very home and limit the amount of intakes we bring in. We pride ourselves on ethical care and want to avoid overcrowding the space and overwhelming ourselves. We have a max capacity of 6 Chinchillas at a time (for now.) Being small a Rescue with limited space allows us to interact daily, 1 on 1, to take the time to get to know our intakes, their personalities and assess their needs. We have a mandatory 2 week holding period for quarantine and each intake receives an initial exam with our Vet. If needed, we will hold back intakes longer for medical care, bonding observation or if more interaction is needed for those who have not had much attention with their prior home. Overall, we want to ensure they get the proper TLC and rehabilitation they need to prepare them for their next adventure!
